Welcome to the Business Services Department
Business Services encompasses the financial and operational functions related to district operations. As Chief Business Official (CBO), I oversee the departments featured below, each of which contributes to the general financial and operational efforts of the district.
Business Services also serves as a collaborative bridge within the department and as a liaison between the district and its external partners such as county and state agencies, DSA, construction management, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and other stakeholders. Additionally, the CBO engages with broader educational and operational initiatives, including serving on the boards of the BACAE, CSRM, and CSEBA.
The internal departments work together to support district operations and advance established district priorities through coordinated use of resources. Each department listed below plays an important role in maintaining the district's overall operations.
Our Core Service Teams:
- Fiscal Services
Manages accounts payable, benefits, payroll and related financial processes. This work includes oversight of financial records and practices to promote accuracy and responsible use of district resources.
- Facilities, Maintenance, and Operations
Oversees the maintenance and operation of district buildings and grounds, supporting safe, functional, and maintained facilities through established practices.
- Nutrition Services
Providing daily meal services to students in accordance with program requirements and operational guidelines.
- Purchasing, Warehouse, and Printshop
Coordinates purchasing process, bids, vendor relationships, warehouse, and printshop services to support the district's operational needs.
- Risk Management and Safety
Coordinates risk management activities and compliance efforts to support safe and well managed district operations.
