STUDENT SCORE REPORT (SSR) ACCESS
Regulations CAASPP
5 CCR Section 863(a) requires LEAs to provide individual CAASPP results to parents/guardians within 20 working days after they are received by the LEA or within 20 working days of the start of the new academic year if received after the last day of instruction. Only authorized LEA personnel, the student, and parents/guardians may access the CAASPP results of an individual student.
As eligible student assessments are scored, an electronic version of their CAASPP and ELPAC Student Score Report (SSR) are pushed to Barstow Unified School District student information systems for parents, guardians and students to access electronically. All eligible students receive a student score report except for students who receive a Parent guardian Exemption for all testsSSR Notification
Score Report Information
- All eligible students receive a student score report (SSR) regardless of whether they were tested. Only students who were exempted by the parent or guardian will not get an SSR.
- Students who were not tested due to a Medical Emergency will receive an SSR that indicates “not tested”.
- Students who receive a Parent Guardian Exemption (PGE) and do not take any tests will not receive an SSR.
- Students who receive a PGE for one test, but not all, will receive an SSR. For example, if a student tests for ELA but is exempt in mathematics, they will receive an ELA SSR with their score and a mathematics SSR that states “not tested”.
- Each student who took the Smarter Balanced assessments will have an optional report available that provides the student's Lexile® and Quantile® measures.
