Student and Family Engagement (S.A.F.E.)
Resource Center
The vision of the Barstow Unified School District (BUSD) Student and Family Engagement (S.A.F.E.) Resource Center is for all BUSD students to thrive in supportive and safe environments and that all students are healthy, eager, and become productive, well‐adjusted members of society. To help achieve this vision, BUSD encourages, supports, and values the participation and involvement of parents and families in the educational experience of their children. The BUSD S.A.F.E. Resource Center works with parents/guardians, school site staff, and community partnerships to provide resources to support social and emotional learning (SEL), academic growth, physical and mental health, and overall wellbeing of students.
To help support our BUSD students and families, the S.A.F.E. Resource Center utilizes district and community resources to meet the needs of students and their parents/guardians by providing ongoing guidance and support through the following programs & services:
The Title I Parent Survey is sent to parents/guardians at the end of each school year. This survey provides your child's school with important information. The information you provide on the Title I Parent Survey will help us evaluate and improve how our schools, families, and parents work together to help all students achieve academically.
Please complete the Title I Parent Survey at the end of each school year when your child's school sends it home. Thank you.
